Business Development Representative

We are looking for a high-energy, full time sales team member to help drive revenue for the business. This front line role is part of Bloomfire’s Business Development team and is a strategic part of Bloomfire’s growth. Business Development Reps (BDRs) will have significant opportunity for advancement as the organization continues to grow.

Business Development Role:

  • Generate new business opportunities for Bloomfire
  • Partner with Account Executives to target prospective customer accounts and establish relationships
  • Engage with prospective customers via phone, email, social selling and other channels to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for Bloomfire to solve them
  • Learn quickly and evolve to meet the challenge

Day to day tasks Include:

  • Company and people research and planning
  • Execution of sales initiated marketing campaigns (email, social interactions, etc)
  • Calls to prospective customers
  • Recording your activities in Salesforce.com

Requirements:

  • One (1) year in some sales capacity
  • Proven written and oral communication skills
  • Experience and comfort with making cold prospecting calls
  • Experience with technology like MS Office, LinkedIn and Google Suite

  • Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Using Salesforce.com, DiscoverOrg, and/or Sales automation (such as Salesloft, Outreach, etc.)Sales enablement, customer support, or operations
  • Hitting goals
