Bloomfire Named One of the Best Places to Work in Austin

Our team at Bloomfire already knew we had one of the best workplaces in Austin, but now we’ve gotten outside confirmation.

The Austin Business Journal recently named us one of their 2018 Best Places to Work. The ABJ releases a new Best Places to Work list every year (Bloomfire previously made the list in 2015 and 2016) to highlight the locally-based businesses that have the best company culture and most engaged employees.

On June 22nd, the ABJ hosted a Western-themed lunch at the downtown Austin Hilton Hotel to recognize honorees. We were thrilled to send several of our team members to an event that included businesses in a diverse range of industries, from real estate to publishing to B2B tech.

The ABJ chooses its honorees based on anonymous employee surveys with questions addressing six key dimensions:

    • Communication and Resources
    • Individual Needs
    • Manager Effectiveness
    • Personal Engagement
    • Team Dynamics
    • Trust in Leadership

While we’d like to think that our ping pong tournaments, weekly company lunches, and quarterly Cheese Day have something to do with the great culture at Bloomfire, we know our positive workplace environment goes deeper than that. It comes down to the fact that we have a product our team believes in and a workplace that reflects our values. As our CEO Mark Hammer put it:

“Bloomfire is a great place to work because our values come through in both our product and the people behind it. Our team believes in transparency and getting things done, without taking ourselves too seriously. And our platform allows for the easy sharing of information so that teams can work smarter and accomplish more.”

Here’s to another year of being one of the best places to work in Austin!
