Most AI systems search for useful text, then build an answer from what they find. Knowledge graphs and better content can help. But outdated or conflicting information can still cause false answers and make the tools harder to trust.
What Makes AI Work At Scale?
Context.
Most AI tools retrieve what looks relevant, without knowing your business well enough to know if it’s right. The Enterprise Intelligence Engine™ makes connections from context, not just what’s nearby or indexed.

Every AI Agent Needs the Same Grounded Memory
Bloomfire gives every agent trusted, lasting memory that is grounded in your content, ranked by authority, and shaped by the signals your tools already provide. Context needs to be more than a narrow window into your business, it’s a deep understanding of how it works.
Context Engine Core Capabilities
One engine, powered by a strong core and extendable AI surfaces—each doing a different job so the whole system stays grounded, governed, and current. Core capabilities build and maintain the Persistent Semantic Memory and give you the tools to keep your enterprise knowledge healthy.
The Universal Connector Framework
It all starts with connection. The Universal Connector leverages API endpoints to read the content or data from any system or read directly from any CMS or feed. Connected knowledge is encoded directly into the PSM.
Persistent Semantic Memory™
An AI memory model of your entire knowledge ecosystem, bringing together documents, conversations, media, facts, and the connections between them.
Ontology Detection
A living ontology discovered from your enterprise knowledge, based on the structure that already exists in your connected knowledge. Refined automatically by meaning, authority and trust.
Entity Management
Shape the relationships in your memory model by defining and managing brands, company structures, competitors, customers, locations, products, people, to mirror the way your company works.
+ Build Solutions with AI Surfaces
An API-first, headless architecture means you can build with a suite of agentic AI Surfaces that perform functions for grounding, analyzing and reasoning across the entire knowledge ecosystem instead of creating narrow context windows.
Synapse: Active Intelligence
Answers directly from everything known about the topic, with context that carries across every question.
AI Signal Studio
Signals automatically find insights in your knowledge, understand how people use it, and trigger AI agents to take action.
Context Navigator
A visual map of your entire knowledge ecosystem. See how it’s organized and explore the layers in the PSM.
Learning Studio
Automate the authoring of learning guides, knowledge checks, and decision frames directly from your connected knowledge. Use to help train humans and AI.
AI Connect: MCP + API
Pair directly with custom or general purpose agents via MCP. All surfaces have API endpoints to build from.
Usage Analytics
When paired with the AI Knowledge Management app, see detailed analytics about how your knowledge is used, shared and searched.
The Enterprise Intelligence Engine (EIE) is Bloomfire’s infrastructure layer that connects your organization’s knowledge, wherever it lives, into one governed, persistent memory, then makes that knowledge available to every AI tool, agent, and system your team uses. It’s built to ground AI in what’s true and current, not just what’s nearby.
No, the EIE connects to your knowledge through the Universal Connector Framework and builds its memory from what’s already there- documents, conversations, media, and more, without moving anything or requiring it to be re-platformed. Source-system permissions are respected throughout, never bypassed.
Yes, the Enterprise Intelligence Engine is reachable through AI Connect, our MCP-compatible API, so any agent or application can query the same governed memory Bloomfire uses internally. See AI Connect API + MCP for the details.
Traditional RAG retrieves a handful of matching fragments each time you ask a question. This is useful, but with no memory between queries. The Enterprise Intelligence Engine builds a Persistent Semantic Memory instead: a standing, structured understanding of your whole knowledge ecosystem that every question draws from.
Grounding gives an AI agent trusted, relevant information from approved sources.
Reasoning helps the agent connect that information, draw conclusions, and decide what to do next.
The Enterprise Intelligence Engine does both automatically for every query. And unlike typical generative AI, it does so in a way that’s deterministic and observable, so you can see exactly how an answer was reached.
Using the Bloomfire Knowledge Management app (KMS) provides additional benefits in two key ways:
First, the KMS is the place where you can author, approve, update, certify and fill knowledge gaps uncovered by the EIE.
Second, if you use the KMS as an access portal to your company knowledge, it natively collects the usage and engagement data which helps to enrich the EIE’s signals like trust, authority, and expertise, greatly enhancing the capabilities of the engine. Other systems can also provide these signals, but many are not as detailed as the Bloomfire KMS.
