The spark for Bloomfire came from an experience our founder had while working as a product lead at a medical device firm. He was demoing a product to a doctor client in a hospital when the client asked a question that stumped him. After calling as many co-workers as he could think of and failing to get an answer, our founder realized that there had to be a better way to find and share company information. Enter Bloomfire, the world’s first knowledge engagement platform.
Today, we have over 300 customers across dozens of industries around the world, but our foundation is still the same. Mark has over two decades of product, management, and strategy experience at software, education, and energy companies. He held senior management positions at SmartBear Software, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and CompassLearning, among others.
Bill has over 20 years experience in both public and high-growth, venture-backed software companies and is responsible for leading Bloomfire’s financial strategy, accounting, business planning, human resources, and legal administration. He has been recognized by the Austin Business Journal as one of Austin’s best CFOs.
David has over 15 years experience in engineering leadership and architecting complex software solutions. He is responsible for defining how to build our products on time and keeping everything running smoothly.
Joah has a decade of experience in product management with a focus on B2B and B2C web and mobile applications. He is responsible for overseeing product vision and strategy at Bloomfire, and he brings a passion for UI/UX design to the role.
Patrick has over a decade of experience in B2B software and technology sales leadership. He is responsible for leading the Bloomfire sales team and helping to define Bloomfire’s go-to-market strategy, as well as helping our prospects and customers make well-informed buying decisions.
Sam has a background in consulting, product management, and leading customer success teams. She is responsible for overseeing the Bloomfire implementation process and ensuring that customers achieve their business objectives and maximize value from Bloomfire.
