Imagine being in the operating room demoing a product for the large medical device company you work for. The surgeon turns to you, in the middle of surgery, and asks you something specific about the product and you can’t find the answer. Out of frustration, the surgeon kicks you out, and you think to yourself, if only there was a better way to find the information I need to do my job….
This is exactly how Bloomfire got started. Fast-forward to today, with over 300 customers across dozens of industries around the world our foundation is still the same. We aim to harness your company’s knowledge and make it available to all who need it — with a simple search.
Keeping Bloomfire weird one taco at a time. We put our employees first and believe we all play an equal role in ensuring that we adhere to Bloomfire’s values. We stress the importance of transparency, honesty, and a GTD mindset — and having fun along the way.
Bloomfire provides perks like an office that is just steps away from Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail in downtown Austin, unlimited vacation, group outings, Taco Tuesday, free Friday lunches, a quarterly Cheese Day, and remote working — because we understand how important it is to have life/work balance.
Together, we are creating the workplace that we always wanted: making knowledge and expertise findable by those who need it.
To transform the way companies share knowledge and insights.
We believe in both the importance of independent work and the sharing of ideas. We appreciate the uniqueness of the individual and how the combination of uniqueness creates better teams. We achieve together and learn when we don’t. And we laugh as hard as we work.
Mark has over two decades of product, management, and strategy experience at software, education, and energy companies. At Bloomfire, Mark oversees the customer success, product, marketing, and sales teams. We’ve occasionally seen Mark rocking an 80s mullet wig in the office – okay maybe that was just once.
Bill has over 20 years experience in both public and high growth, venture-backed software companies and is responsible for leading Bloomfire’s financial strategy, accounting, business planning, human resources, and legal administration. David has over 15 years experience in engineering leadership and architecting complex software solutions. He is responsible for defining how to build our products on time and keeping everything running smoothly. He’s not just a He-Man in the office, he’s actually been He-Man (check out his IMDB page).
Patrick has over a decade of experience in B2B software and technology sales leadership. He is responsible for helping our prospects make smart and informed buying decisions. We can often date our company photos by the many stages of Patrick’s hair. If you watch our Instagram closely, you’ll see what we mean.
Dana has over a decade of experience working in Digital Marketing with B2B companies ranging in size from startup to Fortune 500. How did you hear about Bloomfire? Dana was behind it (probably). She also throws amazing parties – you should come to our next User Conference. How many countries have you visited? Dana visited 26 in 2015 alone – for fun!
Chad has nearly a decade of experience working in training and customer success for enterprise SaaS platforms. He helps customers maximize the value of Bloomfire and acts as the voice of the customer internally. Chad has a problem – a chocolate problem. If you can’t find him, he’s probably enjoying a giant brownie next door.
