5 Reasons We’re Thankful for Our Customers

    First and foremost, Thanksgiving is a time for eating. Turkey consumption (or tofurkey, for you health-conscious types) takes priority over all other things this week. If you’re enjoying a nice tofurkey meal this Thursday, we’ll think of you as we get down and dirty on some deep-fried turkey legs.

    We’re just joking… This week is a time to give thanks, and we have so much to be thankful for here at Bloomfire! Just to name a few, we’re thankful to work for a company that values family and friendship above all else. A healthy work/life balance. We’re thankful for the opportunity to solve problems daily and grow with each new challenge we face. We’re thankful for Cheese Day and Taco Tuesdays. We’re thankful for the opportunity to help others build lasting connections.

    But most importantly, we’re thankful for you. Not a day goes by that we aren’t grateful to work with such innovative, passionate organizations. Here are just a couple of the many reasons why:

    1. Your sense of humor.

    In case you didn’t already know, here at Bloomfire, we love to laugh. Dial us in for a conference call? You’ll probably catch us mid-chuckle. Sit in on one of our Friday family lunches? You’ll be amazed by how many jokes and puns (all appropriate, of course) can be squeezed into one hour. So it should come as no surprise that we love to work with people who know how to have good time.

    The newest member of our client success team recently made an observation that reminded us of just how lucky we are;

    “Bloomfire’s customers are like a breath of fresh air.”

    We don’t take this for granted. At Bloomfire, we genuinely enjoy the company of our customers. So keep on gabbing about the terrible date you went on last night and the shenanigans you may or may not have gotten up to on your vacation in Paris! Here, our customers are human beings. That means we make time for your sense of humor; it makes our day all the more enjoyable.

    2. Your creativity.

    Our customers’ creativity and constructive feedback drives everything about our product. You thought it would be valuable to know exactly what your users are searching for, so we built the search report. You wanted a homepage list view option, so we built it. You wanted subcategories, so we’re building those too.

    Our product continues to grow because you all continue to push and inspire us. For that, we thank you!

    3. Your patience.

    Patience and creativity go together like yin and yang, like stuffing and cranberry sauce. We pride ourselves on our product. Day in and day out, we constantly work to give you a product that meets all of your needs and more, that we can be proud of.

    You get that.

    Just as much as we appreciate the creative requests that are the core of our product development, we appreciate your patience. You understand that responding to your requests with as much care, detail, and attention as possible requires time, so you allow us the time we need to do the job right.

    4. Your giving attitude.

    How can we discuss Thanksgiving without bragging (just a little bit) about the work our customers do to make the world a better place?

    Our customers use Bloomfire to coordinate educators, staffers, and security across universities around the world, coordinate volunteers, mobilize local law enforcement, provide childcare to thousands of children, improve conditions and efficiency in orphanages, coordinate charity projects where they are needed most, and the list goes on.

    We are so proud to play a small role in your selfless work.

    5. Your desire to build connections.

    It’s true that we have many different use cases. We enable your sales team. We eliminate silos. We save you time and money. But when it all boils down, what this really means is building connections between people.

    Empowering others to revolutionize their workplace by building lasting, valuable connections is why we do what we do. It’s our passion. Through these connections and the social learning they encourage, team members learn from each other collaborate at an unprecedented level. We’re lucky you value this just as much as we do.
